We painted the interior of the factory to give the new tenant a clean slate to move in.

We painted charcoal on the walls from the ground up to 1.6m to avoid the walls from getting dirty within the factory. We then painted white for the remainder of the wall to lighten up the factory so it would not be to dark.

We also used a washable paint so that the walls could be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

We installed whirly birds to the factory roof to allow for extra ventilation in the factory.

In summer it cools the factory down and in winter it allows extra moisture out to prevent any condensation within the factory.

Our client wanted his chimney waterproofed – which would also seal where it joins the roof and ensure braai success for years to come!

Using 4mm torch-on, our team waterproofed the chimney. We also applied two coats of Silver Coat to protect the torch-on from the UV rays of the sun.

We recently redecorated Kingfisher Glen complex in Gie Road, Table View, with Midas paint. This entailed painting the 38 units on the property, as well as the boundary wall.

Painting a building to ensure it looks fresh and appealing is a great way to add value to a property. Using the right paint also protects a building and prolongs the lifetime of the building materials. This is even more essential for structures in coastal towns, which need to withstand wind, rain, mist and long days of harsh summer sun.

We waterproofed five different roofs of a home in Yzerfontein ahead of the installation of solar panels.

Our client planned to install solar panels on most of the roofs of their home. Our first step was therefore to waterproof the roofs with 4mm torch-on. After the solar panel contractors placed their brackets on the roofs, we waterproofed again. To protect the torch-on, we completed the process with Silver Coat.

We also spruced up the client’s wooden deck with 2 coats of varnish. This will also prolong the longevity of the wood.

We recently did some waterproofing and painting work for a client in Atlantic Beach Golf Estate whose balcony needed some attention.

To start, we chopped up the existing tiles on the balcony and removed them, before preparing the surface to screed it. We then primed the balcony with bitumen.

To prevent future water damage, we added a layer of torch on, which is a great way to waterproof a construction surface. In addition to allowing for overlaps and turn-ups, we also applied counter flashings to the side walls for additional protection.

After applying bonding liquid and cement slurry to the torch-on, the sliding doors and windows were refitted and the balcony was re-tiled. The balcony was now restored to its original ‘new’ condition and looked amazing!

The next step was to make sure the front of the house looked as good as new. So, we scraped off loose and flaking paint from the front façade of the balcony and ceiling. All the cracks were repaired with a suitable filler. We then sanded the areas that were worked on to achieve a smooth finish, and applied spot prime. To complete the work, we applied 2 coats of paint that blended in with rest of the house and also to meet the rules of the estate.

We recently were contacted to do some work for our client, AMSOL, in Paarden Eiland. We were asked to paint and repair broken eaves, as well as tile the window sills.

To reach the required height, we used a scissor jack / cherry picker. Our guys are certified to operate these machines. To ensure the public stayed safe, we also cordoned off the parking bays.
